Hackathons are a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, and have lots of fun! Interested in attending hackathons? Contact anyone on the existing committee, and theyโ€™ll be able to give you some more information, or point you in the right direction.

A hackathon is an invention marathon where you can work with people around the globe to build a project related to technology! It isnโ€™t about hacking into a system, itโ€™s instead about hacking something together and learning a great deal in the process.

How much do they cost?

Student hackathons are usually completely free! Food, drinks, power, WiFi, and a sleeping area are all provided completely free!

The only thing youโ€™ll need to pay for is your travel. Sometimes they will even provide travel reimbursement up to a certain amount.
